COVID-19 Antibody Test

Get a blood test done to check for antibodies.  The antibody serology blood tests look for IgG levels to help identify individuals who have previously been exposed and indicate prior infection, which may have been resolved and gives understanding to an individual’s protective immunity.

Many people who have been exposed are asymptomatic.  Having antibodies may suggest that an individual has some form of immunity to COVID-19.  This can help healthcare providers and employers determine whether an individual can go back to work or activity.

It is important to note that only individuals who are not actively experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and have not been exposed within the past 10 days should get the test.

Common Symptoms of COVID-19:

Fever

Shortness of breath

Fatigue

Sore throat
